Karen Sund

Karen Sund is an energy expert, with wide experience, both geographically and thematically. She has mainly worked with natural gas over the last 30 years but is now doing sustainable biogas for the Oslo region in Norway. She set up Sund Energy in 2007, to support companies and countries navigate into a more sustainable future, building strategies robust for new challenges in competition, emissions, technology and preferences. Governance and risk management have both been important to her strategy and board work since 2000. After years of helping clients glimpse into and prepare for future developments, she has a strong record of calling market developments, especially those unexpected by mainstream.
